    Experiment Planner/ Exercise Coordinator ; USAJMC Fort Bliss Texas

    Summary:

    V2X is seeking qualified personnel to provide Experiment Planning exercise support services to the United States Army Joint Modernization Command (USAJMC), Fort Bliss. This position provides experiment exercise support to the Army and Joint and Multinational partners to ensure the effectiveness of live experimentation in support of the current and future operational environment.

     

    Historically, the JMC program provides strategic expert analysis, planning, and assessments for Live Field Experiments (LFEs) i.e. Joint Warfighting Assessment (JWAs) and Project Convergences (PCs), and Scalable Assessments and Experiments (SAEs) exercises. In collaboration with the USAJMC Operations Office, the Contractor shall gather, analyze, and synthesize relevant operational requirements identified within the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) Strategic Plan and provide recommendations for development of the USAJMC Campaign Plan (CAMPLAN) and Concept of Support to enhance the execution of future LFE and SAE event cycles and set conditions planned for the following year’s LFE and SAE event cycle.

     

    The Experiment Planner/Exercise Coordinator gathers and organizes information on problems or procedures and provides strategic analysis, planning, assessments, and recommendations for solutions to organizational experimentation and exercise support. Develops new, and or modifications to existing experimentation scenarios. The Experiment Planner/Exercise Coordinator provides exercise, event coordination, and communication of exercise objectives, technical requirements, and team actions. The Planner/Coordinator analyzes experiment specific DOTMLPF-P data for assigned concept or capability and makes recommendations on system/concept continuance. The Experiment Planner/Exercise Coordinator reports to the Task Order Manager and participates in meetings and conferences as directed by the government customer or the Task Order Manager.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Two years’ experience supporting a Joint, Live, Virtual and Constructive federation that includes Coalition and Joint Forces

    + Two years’ experience in Brigade level and higher Joint exercise planning

    + Five years of directly related experience

    + Works extended and irregular hours, to include weekends, during periods of rotational experiment exercise support

    + Advanced Professional Military Education

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Former U.S. Army Field Grade officer, Chief Warrant officer, or Contractor with experience working strength management and Army experimentation exercises

    + Proficiency in all MS Office applications and ability to operate a computer for an extended period of time

    + Strong oral and written communications skills

    + Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

    + Bachelor’s degree

    Fort Bliss, TX

    Travel:

    Travel to support experimentation and exercises is required. Up to 20% per year primarily in the CONUS but also OCONUS. Duration may be 5 – 25 days per mission.
