    Purpose of the Role:

    The Sales Development Manager is a high visibility role responsible for driving and accelerating the development of a key divisional growth segment. This role requires a leader who will quickly test and learn from various marketing/sales tactics in an effort to rapidly grow sales of Paslode products into Multi-Family Building.

     

    The Sales Development Manager will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to enable Multi-Family program sales through developing a go to market strategy for Multi-Family building and executing product training, on-site product demonstrations, marketing collateral development, and other content creation. Additionally, success for this role requires individuals with strong communication skills who are comfortable collaborating with sales and marketing team members to identify, pitch, and win new business. The Sales Development Manager will also provide post-sale support at customer sites and tradeshows to build end user awareness and drive purchase decisions of Paslode products within Multi-Family building.

     

    As a key member of the Marketing and Sales Development team, the Sales Development Manager will contribute to both the annual sales plan (AP) and long-range plan (LRP).

    Core Responsibilities:

    + Lead segmentation efforts alongside Marketing and Sales Development leader to develop targeted profiles for the Multi-Family end user base

    + Champion the Multi-Family strategy and go-to-market initiatives. Lead the execution of go-to-market strategies and promotions. Test, learn and adapt various tactics to accelerate growth of Paslode sales into the Multi-Family segment.

    + Work alongside team of Market Demand Specialists who support selling activities on-site and foster builder relationships in core markets

    + Influence the sales organization to assist in driving the Multi-Family strategy through regular sales, customer and end user trainings.

    + Collaborate with marketing/agency to create and maintain key marketing collateral critical to simplifying the sales process

    + Support sales/marketing teams by representing Paslode at customer pitches, tradeshows, and other events

    + Develop a relationship with end users in target markets via Pro Events, trade shows, and other associations to further test and validate effective sales tactics.

    + Support the product marketing organization by identifying unmet end user needs to help build the new product development pipeline for Multi-Family builders

    + Collaborate with the product team to develop/execute targeted growth strategies

    + Own/Deliver annual plan targets for Multi-Family sales growth

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree required in sales, marketing, or comparable discipline

    + A minimum of 5 years of sales and/or product management experience in durable goods

    + Experience managing a team a plus

    + Experience with the construction industry and an understanding of Multi-Family builders is preferred

    + Exceptional presentation skills and comfort pitching/presenting to Customers/End Users

    + Proven success testing, learning, and adapting various tactics to deliver sales growth

    + Competitive nature focused on winning and success

    + Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

    + Superior time management ability and prioritization

    + Microsoft Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams

    + The ability to travel approximately 50% is required

    + Bi-Lingual English/Spanish required.

    Annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 plus up to $25,000 sales incentive bonus. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Company considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
