    THE POSITION

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Program Analyst 3 to join our PeopleStat Office and help us provide agency-wide data analytics and performance management.     DESCRIPTION OF WORK

    As a Program Analyst 3, you will analyze programs and projects, synthesize the data gathered to determine the extent to which goals and needs served are being met, and assess the overall impact of the programs. Your duties will include accessing performance monitoring systems, as well as analyzing and interpreting quantitative information to evaluate program performance and efficiency. In this position, you will design methods to collect, analyze, interpret, and monitor data that supports the objectives of DHS program offices for presentation to DHS executive staff. You can expect to consult with program officials and help then refine their objects and consult with departmental staff regarding all aspects of performance measurement and data analysis. Additionally, you will provide advisory and consultative services to program managers on performance measurement and analysis activities.

    Work Schedule and Additional Information:

    + Full-time employment

    + Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

    + Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

    + Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

    + One year as a Pro gram Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or

    + Three years of analytical experience, two of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or

    + An equivalent combination of experience and training.
