Your role at Clorox:
The Customer Data Sr. Analyst will be at the forefront of Clorox’s data-driven transformation, supporting customer analytics and enterprise-wide initiatives through high-impact data analysis, dashboard creations and process optimizations. This role flexes between CAS analytics and broader enterprise analytical needs, ensuring the integrity, structure, and clarity of data assets while delivering insights that shape strategic decisions and enhance operational performance within the Sales function.
In this role, you will:
+ **Performance Reporting:** Design and maintain dynamic executive-level dashboards and performance reports (e.g., sales KPIs, conversion rates, digital metrics).
+ **Data Strategy & Insights:** Develop and refine data strategies aligned with customer teams’ business goals (sales, customer retention, inventory).
+ **Data Governance & Quality:** Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across systems. Contribute to enterprise data governance efforts, including taxonomy, data lineage, and documentation. Collaborate with data engineers and governance teams to ensure training data quality, transparency, and compliance.
+ **T** **ool & Process Improvement:** Identify and implement process improvements using automation, scripting (e.g., SQL, Python), and advanced analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Planogram Generator). Drive adoption of AI tools (e.g., Copilot in Excel/Power BI, chat-based data exploration) across function teams.
+ **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Act as a bridge between technical EDT teams and business functions. Translate analytical findings into clear business narratives and recommendations.
+ **Advanced Analytics:** Lead the execution of analytics strategies that incorporate AI and machine learning to generate deeper insights into customer behavior, product trends, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with data science teams to improve model accuracy and ensure outputs are actionable for business teams.
What we look for:
Years and Type of Experience
Minimum:
3 years of data analytics or business experience
Exposure to relational databases (e.g., SQL-based querying in academic or work settings).
Experience with ETL processes and tools data analysis. (Excel, Alteryx)
Desirable:
Hands-on work with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience presenting findings to stakeholders, classmates, or non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with business KPIs, digital or operational metrics (e.g., sales performance)
Experience with category management and assortment optimization technical solutions (e.g., Planogram Generator, Mission Control, Shelf IQ)
Internship, capstone project, or freelance/volunteer experience using real datasets.
Skills and Abilities
Minimum:
Strong understanding of spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, and advanced data manipulation.
Basic SQL understanding: Ability to write simple queries to retrieve, filter, and join data.
Familiar with data schemas with ability to design, document, and communicate models.
Detail oriented with the desire and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Work well with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations, etc.)
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, especially when juggling multiple data requests.
Desirable** **:
Data Visualization Tools: Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation.
Statistics: Understanding of concepts like distributions, regressions, and hypothesis testing.
Cloud/Data Platforms: Exposure to BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
Natural desire to dig deeper into data and ask "why."
Clearly explain data insights in both written and verbal formats, especially to non-technical audiences.
Business acumen or domain-specific interest (e.g., marketing analytics, supply chain).
Workplace type:
The ideal candidate will reside within a Clorox Hub and be in office 3x per week in accordance with Hybrid 2.0 Return to Office Policy. (If you are within a 50 mile radius of an office.) Open to qualified remote candidates.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
•Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900
•Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100
•Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
