Position Summary:

The Rochester City Athletic Conference (RCAC) is seeking a passionate and committed Modified Football Coach to lead our student-athletes through skill development, team building, and personal growth. The coach will play a key role in fostering a positive athletic environment that supports the RCAC philosophy of preparing athletes for the next level while emphasizing character, teamwork, and fun.

Key Responsibilities:

? Teach the fundamentals of football in a structured, supportive, and safe environment.

? Promote self-discipline, perseverance, and integrity both on and off the field.

? Foster a team culture that values respect, fairness, and inclusion.

? Plan and supervise practices and games in alignment with RCAC protocols and program goals.

? Ensure all athletes receive positive reinforcement and equitable treatment.

? Communicate with families and administrators in a timely, respectful, and collaborative manner.

? Maintain a safe and organized athletic environment.

? Serve as a role model and mentor for all athletes.

? Actively recruit student-athletes to participate in the program.

? Create and facilitate in-person registration opportunities to ensure equitable access.

? Be knowledgeable of and able to assist families with the ArbiterSports registration procedure.

Qualifications:

? NYS Coaching Certification

? First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Required)

? Proven ability to teach and motivate middle school students

? Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

? Previous coaching or playing experience preferred
