Position Overview:
This position has wide responsibility for the facility management function, including the management of both acute and non acute buildings. Primary responsibilities include setting the strategic direction for the facility management function and implementing long term strategies necessary to operate and maintain Sutter Health buildings in a "best in class" manner. Responsible for the implementation of a routine capital planning process to fund building upgrade and maintenance work necessary to maintain system building assets. Responsible for the development and implementation of facility and property management standards including procedure manuals and best practice guidelines. Other primary responsibilities include the development and oversight of facility, operating unit, and system staffing plans to ensure the most operationally efficient outcomes. This position will also have accountability for other critical building programs that include facility sourcing, energy management, sustainability and key outsourcing strategies.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
+ 15 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
+ Verbal and written communication skills, solid interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities and work group facilitation skills.
+ Interpersonal skills to facilitate moving others in a desired direction with positive outcomes without direct reporting relationship authority
+ Demonstrated negotiation skills balancing attention to details with an ability to operate strategically.
+ Leadership skills and the ability to initiate and maintain clear communications.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, manage and balance multiple interests, and resolve conflicts.
+ Consultative skills to gather needs and translate requests into potential solutions.
+ Client relationship management skills to maintain positive relations between fps and affiliate leadership.
+ Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and business communications computer software programs, Microsoft Word, Projecto, Excel and/or other real estate asset management software is preferred.
+ Skills in identifying, researching/ analyzing and creatively resolving problems
+ Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
+ Possess working knowledge of local building codes and OSHA regulations.
+ Analytical and problem solving skills to provide support to the various customers of the sutter health system.
+ Handle multiple priorities and have the ability to prioritize workload, formulate workable plans and consistently meet established deadlines.
+ Customer service, time management and prioritization skills
+ Leadership and management skills, demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written and oral), including composition, grammar, vocabulary and spelling as well as a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
+ Well organized and capable of managing a high volume of diverse issues and complex information, using independent judgment and discretion and be able to work with minimal supervision. Analyze complex issues and develop problem solving analyses.
+ Work with diverse health and administrative professionals at all organizational levels, including frequent interaction with senior executives and key stakeholders.

Pay Range is $91.30 to $146.08 / hour
_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
