    Amentum (Dahlgren, VA)


    Amentum is seeking a Junior Analyst with a background in fiber optics engineering and can assist in a lab environment.

    Junior Analyst Requirements Includes:

    + Supporting senior analysts and optical engineers in test report documentation and management, including planning and scheduling lab events and maintaining technical reports and data files.

    + Assisting in the development, testing, and evaluation of new technologies, assist in the development of new specifications and standard requirements for existing and emerging components, and evaluate components, test equipment, and tools for inclusion on recommended Navy parts lists.

    + Maintaining accurate records by managing the test report database, equipment logs, and other reports.

    + Identifying and correcting data errors and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, and SharePoint.

    + Planning and organizing multiple projects simultaneously.

    Minimum qualifications:

    + Two (2) years’ experience in an engineering/science discipline; OR Two (2) years’ experience in program analysis in one or more of the following: acquisition, analysis, planning, integrated logistics support or program cost analysis.

    + Must have an active Secret security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Experience in the operations and safety procedures of a fiber optics lab, including fiber splicing.
