• IT Specialist *Secret Clearance Required

    Description

    TEKsystems is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to support Marine Reserve units throughout the New England area with various hardware repair, installation, and imaging as well on-site support as needed at Westover Joint Reserve Air Force Base, MA.

     

    The IT Support Specialist/ Field Service Representative sitting in Chicopee, MA will be primarily responsible for managing IT hardware assets for Marine Reserve units across New England mostly consisting of client systems i.e. deployed desktops.

     

    •Managing the intake of desktop computers needing repair/ re-imaging

    •Booting external hard drive imaging onto desktops, testing and validating imaging, and the redeployment of assets

    •Rolling out software upgrades, shipping out hardware to Marines that need new equipment, etc.

    •Tier 1-2 troubleshooting on issues escalated from the site

    Requirements:

    + Must have an active Secret clearance

    + Active CompTIA Security+CE certification

    + 2+ years of DOD IT experience (Hardware Support to include: Client Systems, Networks, Printers, Operating Systems)

    + Desktop Imaging, Install, Updates, etc.

    + General ITSM Knowledge (No preferred vendor)

    • This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)

    • Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.61 - $33.65/hr.
