    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will operate and set up CNC Lathes and CNC Millturns to produce high-quality parts, ensuring precision and efficiency in a fast-paced machine shop environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.

    + Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine machining requirements.

    + Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to improve production and ensure parts meet tolerances and quality standards.

    + Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.

    + Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers).

    + Collaborate with supervisors and quality control to optimize production processes.

    + Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.

    + Strong knowledge of CNC programming (e.g., G-code, Fanuc controls) is a plus.

    + Familiarity with a variety of materials, including nickel alloys preferred.

    + High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in machining preferred.

    + Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

    + Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
