The Security & Platform Marketing team is accountable for the success of the Defender, Sentinel and Security Copilot businesses, with direct accountability for all aspects of product marketing. In this role you will own the roadmap for these category brands, synthesizing information across many different individual products to deliver clarity on the top new capabilities that support our overall vision, narrative, and ultimate success.
You will also be accountable for ensuring that Defender, Sentinel and Security Copilot maximize the communications and customer engagement opportunities that come with all Microsoft Security events globally. This includes vast first party and third-party events like Ignite, and RSA, as well as global AI tours and one-off digital moments.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to quickly get immersed in the security space, and to understand the challenges of customers of all sizes, and of the security industry. It offers solid connection with many different marketers across the team, and an elevated perspective to understand how to take raw technology delivery and turn it into great communications and audience experience working with partner teams in the broader Microsoft Security marketing organization.

Responsibilities
+ Craft roadmap content for all of security across Defender, Sentinel and Security Copilot
+ Bring deep customer understanding to prioritize what matters most to different audiences
+ Deliver prioritized and coherent innovation themes to support overall public narratives
+ Maximize opportunities to showcase our innovation agenda across Defender, Sentinel and Security Copilot, working with our communications, narrative, and events teams
+ Support additional projects at the overall team level working with our leadership team
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
+ OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 3+ years' experience in marketing to enterprises.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
+ OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
+ OR equivalent experience
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
