Job Description:
The position will assist the Active Mind study by conducting required study activities. These duties include but are not limited to coordinating day-to-day activities and ensuring the compliance of specific research studies. The employee will have office space in UF’s Communicore building within the Center for Cognitive Aging & Memory (CAM). In-person participant interactions will occur in the nearby McKnight Brain Institute CAM space and the MRI facilities.
Job responsibilities include the following:
+ Conduct follow-ups with study participants.
+ Schedule, recruit, and retain study participants.
+ Send and support participant reminders (e.g., phone calls, mailings, etc.).
+ Assist with research and administrative tasks such as data entry and IRB documentation. Maintain tracking logs.
+ Assists with observation and training of newly hired employees during their initial onboarding over a period of 1-2 months, as needed.
+ Manage supplies and equipment.
+ Complete study schedules and activities according to protocols. Serve as back-up schedule coordinator.
The general schedule is Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM. Extended hours may be necessary to meet the demands of this position.
Expected Salary:
$47,000 - $49,000 annually; commensurate with education and experience.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ A bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.
+ Experience with the administration of the National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center (NACC) Uniformed Dataset (UDS) battery.
+ Experience as a research assistant using the Posit Science BrainHQ Cognitive Training suite.
+ Experience administering the Clinical Dementia Rating scale instrument.
