    Job Summary

    As a vital member of our Analytics and Automation team, this position will primarily focus on empowering Citizen Developers through the Microsoft Power Platform. Key responsibilities include assessing the current state of our applications, defining the desired future state, and creating a comprehensive roadmap with timelines to achieve our objectives within the overarching technical framework established by the AEP. We aim to rapidly build solutions to fill gaps in our enterprise, operationalizing new initiatives, prototyping and using functionality that can be built into our enterprise solutions. This role requires a self-starter that can develop the structure, evaluate solutions to ensure they will deliver the intended results and are largely self-sustainable.

    Job Description

    Work Designation – Onsite at 1 Riverside Plaza, Columbus, OH.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    + Define and enforce best practices for development, deployment, and governance of Power Platform applications.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

    + Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

    + Create and maintain documentation for solutions, including architecture diagrams, user guides, and governance frameworks.

    + Provide training, support and mentoring to end-users and other developers on Power Platform tools and best practices.

    + Monitor and analyze application performance and usage metrics to optimize solutions.

    + Stay updated on the latest Power Platform features and industry trends to ensure the organization leverages new capabilities effectively.

    + Shared responsibility for development and support of a custom C# application that supports a key area of our business.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    + Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

    + Experience: 7 years relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    + Proven experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform.

    + Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI functionalities and best practices.

    + Experience with data modeling, data integration, and custom connectors within Power Platform.

    + Familiarity with governance frameworks, including security, compliance, and data management practices.

    + Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, or similar.

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

    + Relevant certifications in Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., PL-100, PL-200) are a plus.

    Compensation Grade:

    SP20-008

    Compensation Range:

    $96,110.00-124,940.00 USD

     

    The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
