CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

**Duration:** 6 months
Overview:
CTG is looking for an experienced Salesforce Software Engineer II to support development and maintenance of enterprise Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Triggers. This role includes both functional and technical design responsibilities, requiring strong development capabilities as well as the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership. Familiarity with GitLab and VS Code is a plus. Experience with the nCino platform and banking knowledge are also desirable.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Develop, maintain, and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, Flows, and Triggers.
+ Independently create fields, write flows, APEX classes/triggers, and unit tests.
+ Design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and align with enterprise architecture standards.
+ Participate in all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
+ Commit all code to Git repositories following source control best practices.
+ Work collaboratively with project managers, business analysts, and QA teams.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed.
+ Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Scope of Responsibilities:
+ Serve as a key contributor on medium to large projects and initiatives.
+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
+ Analyze and design complex systems, considering scalability, performance, and resilience.
+ Prepare and review comprehensive technical documentation.
+ Engage in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards.
+ Support business users by analyzing production issues and implementing timely fixes.
+ Ensure compliance with company development standards and security protocols.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
+ May mentor or direct the work of less experienced developers on a project basis.
+ Collaborate with technical leads and product managers to prioritize tasks and deliverables.
Education and Experience Required:
+ Associate’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of application development experience, or
+ In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years higher education and/or work experience with at least 5 years in application development.
+ Strong experience with Salesforce Admin and Development (Flows, Apex, LWC, Triggers).
+ Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
+ Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitLab).
+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience Preferred:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Salesforce Certifications (Admin, Platform Developer I/II).
+ Experience with nCino Bank Operating System is a plus.
+ Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
+ Background in financial services or banking systems.
