Amergis is hiring a Mental Health Clinician in Arlington, VA for the 2025-2026 school year. License or MSW REQUIRED.

This position is an addition to the current mental health teams in our schools. Each school has school counselors, social workers and psychologists (at least one each). The clinician's role is to meet with that team and determine where additional support may be beneficial. For example, if there are many students with attendance issues, the clinician will support the work of meeting with individual students and their families to address the barriers to attendance. Another example might be that there are many students who are struggling with behavior and need a trusted adult to check in and check out with them each day to help them stay on track. The clinician's role would be to take on some of those cases .

Minimum Requirements:

+ Licensing/Certification according to state/facility/contractrequirement

+ Must have a license or MSW

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
