Job Description:

Are you ready to take your CAD expertise to the next level? We are looking for a skilled professional to manage our ECAD library parts, creating and maintaining schematic symbols, solder pad footprints, and 3D models from component vendor data sheets. With your CAD experience and/or relevant Associate engineering degree, your knowledge of electrical components and industry standards like IPC and ASME/ANSI will ensure our designs meet the highest quality standards. Proficiency in Mentor Xpedition®, Siemens NX, and Siemens Teamcenter is a plus. Join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge engineering solutions.

Essential Functions:

+ Create and maintain schematic symbols for Electrical Computer Aided Design (ECAD) library from component vendor data sheets.

+ Create and maintain solder pad footprints for ECAD library from component vendor data sheets and IPC standards.

+ Create and maintain 3D Models of ECAD library parts for use by Mechanical Engineering.

+ Ensure that all requirements for manufacturing and assembly are met.

Required Qualifications:

+ Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related CAD experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

+ Experience reading vendor datasheets and electrical schematics.

+ Experience creating schematic symbols and PCB footprints (Cells) of electrical components

+ Experience in managing ECAD libraries

+ Experience with ECAD software applications and related PC equipment. Specific experience with Mentor Xpedition®, Siemens NX, and Siemens Teamcenter software is desirable.

+ General knowledge of industry standards such as IPC for design and ASME/ANSI for documentation is desired.
