A day in the Life:
+ Understanding of day-to-day laboratory operations.
+ Responsible for lab restocking and refilling.
+ Supports shipping and receiving.
+ Coordinates cold storage and room temperature storage and handles onsite inventory.
+ Management of biohazardous materials and waste, chemical waste, sharps, and other potentially hazardous materials.
+ Supports lab equipment life cycle and calibration management, including preventative maintenance of a variety of simple to complex laboratory equipment (e.g., centrifuges, water systems, incubators, analytical equipment).
+ Plans and executes instrument post service qualifications, reagent qualificaiton, and inter-instrument comparability runs.
+ Coordinates activities across multiple teams and maintains cross-functional relationships across testing teams, project management teams, and site leadership.
+ EHS and 5S champion.
+ Prepares and supports audit readiness.
Keys to Success:
Education
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences (preferred) or other scientifically relevant field.
Experience
+ 2+ years experience working in a clinical laboratory.
+ Capable of working at a fast pace on multiple projects and adapting to changes in priorities and work environment.
+ Able to prioritize and optimally communicate through challenges.
+ Strong attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, excellence in time-management and organizational skills.
+ Able to follow onsite standard operating procedures.
+ Able to identify areas of process improvement and drive site communication to address gaps and/or update site procedures.
+ Computer literacy and experience with standard computer programs like Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
+ Align with site safety policies and follow PPE requirements in the lab.
+ Experience with NGS instrumentation (ie: Genexus Purification system, Genexus Sequencer, PGM Dx., etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
+ Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, such as Microsoft Office Suite and LIMS.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Understanding of regulatory compliance, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and HIPAA.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $31.73–$47.60.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
