ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Digital Engineer** to join our team in **El Segundo, CA** .

This role focuses on developing and implementing cutting-edge analytical approaches for improving enterprise processes, combined with core software development and data engineering responsibilities.

You’ll work on high-impact applications that drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging both engineering principles and full-stack development skills alongside robust data architecture and processing. The successful candidate will concentrate on creating and implementing advanced methodologies to analyze, streamline, and optimize complex workflows and systems, while also designing, developing, and maintaining the software and data systems that support these critical operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Develop and implement new analytical approaches for enterprise process improvement, with a focus on meeting the demands of rapid operational tempos and scalability.

+ Utilize expertise in system requirements modeling, verification, and validation in the context of process improvement.

+ Address process challenges related to efficiency, quality, and throughput.

+ Design, develop, and maintain scalable software using tools such as JavaScript and Python. Architect and optimize relational database systems.

+ Collaborate across the stack—from backend systems to data pipelines, and potentially frontend features.

+ Troubleshoot and solve complex engineering problems with efficient, scalable solutions.

+ Ensure code quality via tests, peer reviews, and documentation.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, System Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.

+ 10+ years as a process engineer, systems engineer, business analyst, technical project manager, software engineer, data engineer, or other related areas.

+ Experience working in agile, enterprise-grade environments.

+ Proven ability to deliver clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Extensive experience in enterprise process design, analysis, and improvement, with a strong emphasis on process integration and automation.

+ Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new analytical approaches and methodologies for process optimization.

+ Solid understanding of system requirements modeling, verification, and validation.

+ Proficient in software programming tools such as JavaScript and Python.

+ Strong experience Relational Databases such as SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) databases.

Clearance Requirements:

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

+ The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

+ Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
