    Starting wage of $19.89/hour with a potential shift differential of 7.5%-20% *

Maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities is critical in providing a safe, comfortable, functional and aesthetically pleasing campus environment that is conducive to teaching, learning and living.     This posting is for Night and Weekend Shifts including:

    Tuesday - Saturday 4:00pm - 12:30am

     

    Sunday - Thursday 5:00pm - 1:30am

     

    Monday - Thursday 9:00pm - 7:30am

    Saturday - Tuesday 6:30am - 5:00pm (4x10) (day/weekend)

    *Positions may be eligible for shift differential if majority of hours fall with the following hours worked. For more information, please contact your recruiter.

    + Regular rate applies when work hours fall between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (no shift differential).

    + Second shift differential rate (7.5%) applies when half or more of the scheduled work hours fall between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

    + Third shift differential rate (14%) applies when half or more of the scheduled work hours fall between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

    + Weekend differential rate (20%) applies when more than half of the scheduled shift hours fall on a weekend shift. Weekend shifts start at 4:00 pm Friday through 6:00 am Monday

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Six months of experience* in custodial work or closely-related work. This experience includes but not limited to sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, general dusting and vacuuming within an office/school environment.

     

    *This experience must be substantiated within the Work Experience section of your application. "See Resume" will not be accepted. In addition, part-time work will be prorated.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL COMPENTENCIES:

    + Previous relevant experience as a state employee

    + Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and appliances ;
