    About the Role

     

    As an **Operations Supervisor** , you’ll play a key leadership role in managing daily landfill operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into higher-level management within 1–3 years.

    What You’ll Do

    + Lead and supervise work crews operating heavy equipment and waste handling operations.

    + Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing or assignments as needed.

    + Conduct field inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

    + Address customer concerns and ensure high service standards.

    + Coach and mentor team members; conduct performance reviews and development plans.

    + Set and execute short- and long-term operational goals.

    + Oversee compliance with environmental, OSHA, and local permitting regulations.

    + Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

    + 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, people-driven environment.

    + Experience operating or managing heavy equipment operations preferred.

    + Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

    + Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems.

    + Willingness to relocate for future promotional opportunities.
