Summary You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE. Responsibilities You will Investigate and study a broad range of automated and non-automated functions internal and external to the department. You will coordinate specific contractual issues, shipbuilding specification concerns and technical specification issues related to ILS functions to arrive at resolutions. You will successfully design and implement shared databases in various ILS areas such as COSAL, installation and checkout spares and schedule A. You will have knowledge of programming and applications of computer equipment to support ILS program management responsibilities and automation activities. You will have knowledge of the contractors ILS ADP programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing logistics support, configuration and outfitting for various Navy Ships and crafts contracts under the cognizance of SUPSHIPGC. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of the general principles, procedures, techniques and practices followed in ship construction and availabilities, so as to effectively conduct analysis and report results; 2) Reviewing proposed regulations and procedural changes for supply related ADP functions to determine impact of material department areas and responsibility; and 3) Analyzing contractual documents, shipbuilders' specifications and other technical documents relating to ILS, in order to identify/investigate problems and provide recommendations.
