A Typical Day
The Portfolio Strategy Analyst will perform reporting and analysis under the direction of the Director of Portfolio Strategy. As the Analyst , you will be responsible for various recurring, and non-recurring, reports that require knowledge of MS Excel and MS SQL database.
The Portfolio Strategy Analyst will :
+ Run various pricing models to determine the value of the execution such as modification, refinance, short sale and deed-in-lieu
+ Support marketing initiatives by correctly identifying the loan population (run lead model), calculate the terms of the offering (run pricing model), collaborate with Marketing department of data cut-off and report the results
+ Apply financial concepts to improve, or modify, existing pricing model
+ Build the lead model for the business area the analyst support (refinance, modification, short sale, deed-in-lieu, foreclosure strategy, bankruptcy, or REO)
+ Perform other related duties as required and assigned
+ Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Science, or Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience
+ 7+ years of relevant work experience
+ Proficient in MS Excel
+ Experience with MS VB programming and MS SQL experience is a plus
+ Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
+ Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
+ Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
+ Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.

$55,000 - $85,000
