Harborview Medical Center has an opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager to join us in our **New Outpatient Surgery Center** , for our pre and post op care.
SCHEDULE:
+ 100% Mon-Friday (4-10’s/ week)
+ Day Shift

+ Stand-alone surgery center with Harborview supportThe **UW Medicine Outpatient Surgery Center** will provide daytime surgical procedures to the community of patients that meet developed criteria. **ABOUT THE OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER** The **New Outpatient Surgery Center opening on the Harborview Campus** is located on the 4th floor of Ninth and Jefferson Building (NJB) and will open January 2026 to patients. The Surgery Center will feature 5 operating rooms, 12 pre/post bays, and sterile processing. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday with no holidays, weekends, or night hours. The Center will offer same-day surgery procedures utilizing state-of–the-art equipment to our community of patients that meet the necessary criteria. This reflects the Center’s innovative, patient-centered culture, supporting ongoing operational efficiencies and quality improvements. The goal is to provide a seamless, low-stress surgical experience for each patient, surgeon, and staff member. The unit will provide a soothing environment with natural lighting and patient privacy. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **_(PRE/POST OP)_**
+ Oversight of pre-operative and post-operative patient experience
+ Oversight of quality and patient safety
+ Assist director with staff feedback and performance measures
+ Participate in meeting Key Performance MetricsImplementation of workflows, processes, and resources that will provide a consistent, prepared, and positive surgical experience for patients, surgeons, and staff **REQUIRMENTS**
+ Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
+ Three or more years perioperative experiences
+ Charge nurse experiences
