    Mobile Engineering Operations Manager

    Job Description Summary

    The Operations Manager will provide critical operational support to the account leadership team and oversee the day-to-day field operations of Cushman & Wakefield’s Mobile Engineering service line within the PCO group. This role encompasses compliance monitoring, operational reporting, metrics development, invoicing, infrastructure management, and administrative support for technicians, the Mobile Engineering Manager, and the Account Director.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Collaborate with the Mobile Engineering Manager to lead and support all mobile engineering team members.

    + Ensure adherence to client administrative processes while aligning with Cushman & Wakefield corporate policies.

    + Implement and manage internal controls, work order scheduling, communication protocols, and dispatch operations.

    + Maintain and update the CMMS database in coordination with account coordinators and facility managers.

    + Monitor and report on key operational metrics, pricing, invoice inquiries, and compliance (e.g., timecards, vehicle usage, fuel consumption, productivity, mobile usage, purchasing card activity, and billing).

    + Support technician onboarding/offboarding, including distribution and tracking of tools, uniforms, hardware/software, vehicles, and documentation.

    + Assist with financial reviews, dashboard preparation, and participation in client meetings.

    + Ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, with a strong focus on reporting, data analysis, and process improvement.

    + Background in HVAC and/or electrical systems is a plus.

    + Degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

    + Experience in facilities management is preferred.

    + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and develop actionable metrics.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both internal team collaboration and client interaction.

    + Proven leadership and managerial capabilities, especially with remote teams across multiple time zones.

    + Willingness to travel 25–30% as needed.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.

    + High proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while supporting team operations.

    The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

     

    The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

     

    The compensation for the position is: $76,500.00 - $90,000.00
