    **Sodexo** is seeking a **Patient Services Manager 2** at **Bridgeport Hospital’s Milford Campus** , a 120-bed community hospital in **Milford, CT** . This role oversees daily patient meal service operations, leading a team of 15 non-union employees. The site utilizes bedside ordering and recently launched a 24-hour cashless micro-market with grab-and-go and made-to-order options.

     

    The ideal candidate will have prior experience in healthcare food service, patient rounding, and direct interaction with patients. This hands-on role requires flexibility and a customer-focused mindset, as it involves supporting both patient dining and a small amount of retail operations.Typical Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with weekend/holiday rotation as needed (must be flexible).

    What You'll Do

    + Manage daily patient meal operations and frontline staff;

    + Conduct patient rounding to drive satisfaction;

    + Ensure regulatory compliance and food safety;

    + Assist with retail operations as needed;

    + Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff

    + At least 2 years lead food management experience with a focus on patient services and satisfaction;

    + The ability to be creative and innovative;

    + A strong working knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines;

    + A commitment to quality and customer service;

    + Excellent leadership and communication skills;

    + Provide direction, guidance, and supervision of patient hospitality to employees at patient care units;

    + Serve as senior and primary representative of patient care activities

    Qualifications & Requirements

     

    Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

     

    Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

     

    Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
