    Role Overview

    **Sodexo Corporate Services** is looking for an **Executive Chef 2** to join our team at one of our High-Profile accounts in New York, NY. The current food landscape consists of 1 corporate cafe that serves Breakfast and Lunch only, Pantry Services and Catering Operations. The E **xecutive Chef 2** will be the lead culinary person and drive the culinary strategy. The Executive Chef will be responsible for the overall day-to-day food production.

    Predominately a M-F schedule with very rare evenings and weekends

    What You'll Do

    + menu planning

    + ordering

    + inventory

    + food and labor cost

    + hands on cooking 60% of the time

    + catering production

    + safety and sanitation

    + managing a team of 10 hourly employees (7 cooks and 2 utility workers and 1 pantry attendent)

    + ensuring food quality and presentation

    + client interaction

    Qualifications & Requirements

     

    Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

     

    Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

     

    Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
