    About Travel Retail

     

    Travel Retail Americas oversees all Travel Retail operations across the Americas (over 900 points of sale) including airports, cruise ships, airlines, downtown duty-free stores, and border stores.

     

    A DAY IN THE LIFE

     

    The assistant role is responsible for supporting office operations through administrative and organizational follow-up of the Marketing & Retail team's activities.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide comprehensive administrative and technical support, including calendar management, call reception, business travel coordination, expense receipt entry, mail processing, drafting responses, and managing office supply orders.

    + Organize and coordinate departmental meetings and major events such as sales conferences, area visits, international meetings, strategic planning sessions, and prospectives.

    + Prepare purchase orders and monitor budgets and expenditures, including closet orders, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

    + Develop and maintain presentation files with up-to-date marketing data to support team initiatives.

    + Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, including planning FIT courses and managing IT and telecommunication requests.

    + Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments such as Sales, Merchandising, PR, and Training to ensure alignment and efficiency.

    + Liaise with external service providers, including market research firms, advertising agencies, and media buying agencies, to support marketing efforts.

    + Distribute marketing materials and information within the department, including magazines and digital files.

    + Plan and manage logistics for project presentations and annual events, including Global Days, ensuring seamless execution.

    + Assist in furnishing event and meeting spaces in accordance with current merchandising concepts to enhance brand presence.

    + Serve as a key liaison between stakeholders and Head Offices for subsidiaries, ensuring clear and effective communication

    Required Qualifications:

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Strong analytical skills to evaluate situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.

     

    Demonstrated ability to maintain high energy levels and manage stress effectively in fast-paced environments.

     

    + Skilled in organizing events and managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines efficiently.

    + Proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing practical solutions.

    + Competent in preparing and delivering informative briefings to stakeholders.

    + Ability to motivate and involve team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.

    + Strong planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
