What You Will Do:
The Director of US Assembly & Promo Planning will oversee the Assembly and POS Material Management functions for the LDB brands. This role is responsible for leading and providing direction on the planning and execution to support service levels through product availability date achievement while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. This role will supervise a team of direct reports that include Assembly and POS Material Planners.
The Director of US Assembly & Promo Planning will partner with the Leads of Development, Physical Distribution, US Planning, GS&OP, Finance, Customer Supply Chain, Marketing, Commercial Teams, Sourcing and External 3PLs to lead the Promo process and initiatives for the LDB division. They will collaborate, influence, and communicate inventory and co-packing strategies to ensure cost savings, efficiencies and business continuity plans. They will track and report key performance indicators to identify opportunities and risks, and develop mitigation plans to share with the business teams. They will also be responsible for collaborating and developing processes and tools to support the changing ways of working across the technical platforms.
The Director of Assembly & Promo Planning will be responsible for promoting the right level of partnership and prioritization with the key stakeholders on the Operations teams based in New Jersey and New York. This role is a people management role and the person selected will be responsible for empowering and developing their direct reports and building a strong performing team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Manage Data Accuracy: Accurate item master data, Bill of Materials, BOM header forecasts, and material requirements for efficient planning and production.
+ Inventory Management and Optimization: Manage stock parameters that will optimize inventory to meet demand while minimizing costs associated with excess or obsolete stock.
+ Supply Chain Planning and Execution: Manage processes of open stock transfer planning, production planning and prioritization, cascading analysis, and future stock projections.
+ Project Management for Milestone Achievement: Manage on-time readiness of key milestone timelines and PAD achievements related to new product launches or ongoing production.
+ Excess and Obsolete Inventory Management: Manage excess and obsolete inventory by implementing strategies for returning or repurposing excess stock with minimal destruction.
+ Problem-Solving and Barrier Removal: Support the resolution of barriers and lead initiatives to find solutions to operational challenges that could disrupt the supply chain, including but not limited to transactional data, inventory movements, product availability, capacity constraints, etc.
+ Risk Management and Communication: Manage business outlook and key performance metrics to ensure proactive identification of issues that could impact supply chain operations and work with stakeholders to develop solutions to mitigate risks.
+ Collaboration and Partnership: Manage relationship with internal operations teams, ESC suppliers, and sourcing teams on network and supplier selection, strategies and contracts.

Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business related preferred
+ Minimum 8 years of relevant business experience within Manufacturing or Supply Chain
+ Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required
+ Strong attention to detail with a focus on data integrity
+ Ability to build strong working relationships within all levels of the organization
+ Demonstrate ambition, empathy, resilience, learning agility and judgement
+ Experience working with Nulogy, SAP, APO
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
