POSITION TITLE: Manager – Account Management, CPD Pro Beauty
PRIMARY LOCATION: El Segundo, CA
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Are you a driven and innovative sales leader with a passion for the beauty industry? The CPD Pro/Specialty team seeks a highly entrepreneurial Sales Manager to cultivate and expand our portfolio of CPD brands within the Pro distributor network. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hunter mentality, capable of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities while nurturing existing business and accounts. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, leveraging your creativity and business acumen to drive growth and achieve ambitious sales targets. Key Responsibilities:
+ Strategic Account Management: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within existing accounts. Develop and execute account-specific annual business development plans, incorporating insights and historical data to maximize growth and profitability while addressing any challenges.
+ Entrepreneurial Initiatives: Identify and explore innovative opportunities for growth within existing accounts. Embrace a "test and learn" approach, continuously seeking ways to optimize results. Develop and test creative solutions, leveraging team learnings to enhance brand awareness, and drive strategic growth with new brand expansions.
+ Forecast and Performance: Monitor budget performance and initiate forecast adjustments to identify growth opportunities and optimize shipment volume delivering against monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
+ Collaboration and Influence: Partner with internal stakeholders, including marketing, brand education and activation teams, and finance to align strategies and maximize business impact. Effectively influence and negotiate with key stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
+ New Business Development: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to penetrate untapped markets and secure new business.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited university
+ 3-5 years of demonstrated success in outside sales or the beauty industry, with an emphasis on strategic account management, distributor sales, and/or new business development.
+ Proven ability to develop and execute innovative sales strategies, exceeding targets and driving significant growth.
+ Strong commercial orientation, business acumen, and entrepreneurial mindset.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
+ Extensive experience in and familiarity with the professional beauty industry preferred.
