Overview
GENERAL SUMMARY
Oversee day-to-day management of digital communities on behalf of Lexus, with primary function being activation of social media channels – but within context of larger ideas and programs.
Day to Day:
+ Support Social Media Manager with management of the editorial social content calendar and daily publishing to Lexus social channels
+ Lexus dealer social content uploading, copywriting, and day-to-day program management
+ Assist with copywriting for Lexus National social media channels and dealer social media channels
+ Pinterest and YouTube uploads and expired content management
+ Meeting notes and recaps for the Biweekly Collaboration Meeting
+ Social ad hoc client and internal requests management
+ Support Social Media Manager in compiling social data for quarterly business review
+ Being able to professionally field and reply to marketing questions asked of the brand across its social media channels
+ Proactively seeking out and acting on engagement opportunities with Lexus fans and followers
+ Collaboration with Lexus Social Media Manager and multiple internal Lexus divisions to understand organizational priorities and upcoming content opportunities
+ Keeping up to date and pulling engagement metrics and analytics for all of Lexus’ social channels, recommending changes based on results and contributing to quarterly business and ad hoc reports
+ Keeping up to date on social media related trends in the industry and bringing ideas about how Lexus Digital could capitalize on these trends
+ Work in tandem with multiple departments in the agency to continue to build Social Media expertise across teams
+ Support of campaign integration and Account Supervisor as needed
Qualifications
**Experience:** Primarily looking for an individual with 1-2 years of Social Media Experience on high-profile brands, combined with 1-4 years of previous Public Relations or Publicity experience, with online emphasis.
**Education:** A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
**Skills and Abilities:** This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style. A motivated thinker that is pro-active and confident, understands and engages with social and mobile platforms and works well with a team. This individual will possess both an understanding of online consumer behaviors, along with multiple engagement and tracking methods. Other skills include but are not limited to:
+ A superb and flawless writer
+ Have a relentless curiosity about consumers and human relationships
+ Be both a good listener and an able and inspiring communicator
+ Ability to interpret marketing research data both quantitative and qualitative
+ Have a balance of creative and analytical thinking
+ Highest fluency in all social media channels, including but not limited to: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Vine, Tumblr, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Periscope, Meerkat and others.
+ Able to work extended hours, including weekends, as required
+ Ability to use good judgment when making business decisions and performing tasks
+ Attention-to-detail; demonstrates a high degree of accuracy
+ Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize workload and multi-task

There may be times when lifting up to 25lbs. is required. Overtime, including evenings and/ or weekend work- may be required. There may be occasion to travel.
