SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Worship Associate is to provide spiritual, value-driven worship support to Campus Worship Teams in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision, values, and major objectives of Pinelake Church. The Worship Associate disciples, develops, and resources the Worship Ministry Team while having a special emphasis on personal, professional, and spiritual growth that will help prepare him/her for future positions of leadership within Pinelake Worship.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Supports Worship Staff by creating resources that serve our worship environments, develop skill, and foster spiritual growth within Servant Leader teams.
+ Assist other staff members, when needed, to support teamwork and contribute to the successful completion of their objectives and strategies.
+ Basic personal responsibilities:
+ Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation.
+ Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
+ Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
+ Continually pursue Pinelake's value of emotionally healthy spirituality by faithfully and fervently loving God and others from an honest heart and a purified soul.
+ Maintain active participation in an adult-group.
+ Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).
+ Value the 7 H's of our staff culture in their heart, home and life (Humility, Honor, Honesty, Hunger, Holy Spirit, Health, and Harmony).
SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Participate in execution of systematic development throughout Pinelake Worship.
+ Serve alongside One Church Worship Pastors and Music Directors to support Campus Staff and Servant Leaders on a regular basis.
+ Assist in creating and acquiring resources for Campus Worship Staff and Servant Leaders that assist in the execution of services and team growth (Ableton Live, Playback, ChartBuilder, RehearsalMix, etc.).
+ Pursue personal training and development in all areas of Worship Ministry (including vocal/instrumental skills, music direction, ministerial duties, service programming, AVL programming, etc.).
+ Assist in backline management and training of campus teams on proper upkeep/usage.
+ Influence the Worship Ministry culture by modeling and shepherding toward spiritual, emotional, relational, and organizational health.
+ Assist One Church Worship Pastors and Music Directors in creating environments that inspire Worship Leaders to grow in their craft and develop spiritually.
+ Contribute to worship programming for Sunday services and PL College services on a regular basis.
+ Serve on the Worship Leader, Music Director, and/or instrumentalist rotation for One Church to provide strategic support to campuses for Sunday services and PL College services (as needed).
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree and two to four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must also exhibit proficiency in leading worship from a primary instrument.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The individual must be able to understand written or oral instructions; read, analyze and interpret documents, instructions manuals, and policies and procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with a diverse group of people, communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, email and in person, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
COMPUTER AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
The individual must have demonstrated skill in the use of Windows/MacOS to complete tasks, including word processing and spreadsheets and the ability to use the internet for information retrieval. The individual must have basic mathematical skills, knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting, and budget and expense monitoring. The individual must have the ability to read financial information and spreadsheets. Basic understanding of Planning Center Services and Digital Audio Workstations (Ableton Live, Pro Tools, etc.) is a must.
REASONING ABILITY
The ability to simultaneously conceptualize and plan multiple tasks; project outcomes using different implementation strategies; and apply creative and innovative thinking to problem situations is required. The ability to work effectively and efficiently under stressful conditions to ensure deadlines are met is essential.
