Your Responsibilities
As a **Material Coordinator** for **John Deere Dubuque Works** located in Dubuque, IA, you will:
+ Coordinate the flow of materials in multiple departments of the factory, which may include shipping and receiving.
+ Ensure that the production personnel have the parts they need in order to produce the desired product(s).
+ Oversee and ensure that the inventory is correct and on time and identify problems to make suggestions involving production schedules.
+ Coordinate the activities for the tactical execution of a production plan within the factory.
+ Work in larger and broader groups.

What Skills You Need
+ One or more years of experience in manufacturing, material flow, supply management or operations
+ Technical aptitude to learn new systems and processes (such as SAP IM/WM, Production Planning, Materials Management)
+ Ability to analyze data and determine root cause
+ Communicate cross functionally and influence without authority
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
What Makes You Stand Out
+ Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Just-in- Time, Kanban, Logistics
+ Experience with SAP Warehouse processes and transactions
+ Experience with Data Management tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI.
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management or Accounting/Finance discipline or equivalent experience

The John Deere Dubuque Works is one of the key facilities in Deere & Company's Construction and Forestry (C&F) Division. The Dubuque Works manufactures backhoe loaders, crawler dozers, and skid steer loaders for the construction industry and knuckleboom loaders and tracked feller bunchers for the forestry industry. The Dubuque Works also serves as the Center of Excellence for the C&F Division in the areas of Product Engineering, Product Verification and Validation, Supply Management, and Product Support which includes the Dealer Technical Assistance Center. From a manufacturing perspective, the core competencies of the factory include plate and sheet cutting, machining, welding, paint, and assembly.
The John Deere Dubuque Works is one of the most innovative and productive facilities of its kind. From an Engineering perspective, techniques such as virtual reality and rapid concepting are used to assist in the design process. Our manufacturing facilities use state of the art techniques and equipment to produce products including CNC machining centers and a Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
