Description
Medical Associates Clinic is hiring a **Quality Manager** to join our management team! This position requires an RN degree and valid RN license.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a **Quality Manager** , you will assume responsibility for the Quality Improvement department at Medical Associates Clinic to overseeing quality initiatives that lead to improving how we deliver care. This position will help with ensuring patients are able to effectively access care, are able to gain access to needed care timely, have a central point of contact to allow for a seamless patient experience. Manage patient experience, address incidents and complaints, and lead initiatives across key areas such as Social Determinants of Health (SDoH), Accountable Care Organization (ACO), Medicaid, safety, and infection control.

What Skills You Bring:

**Major Responsibilities** :
_Patient Experience:_ Lead the administration and analysis of patient experience surveys to monitor satisfaction and engagement. Develop action plans to address areas of concern and collaborate with clinical teams to implement improvements. Collaborate with and support Care Connect Advisors to improve patient access and care coordination by ensuring timely care delivery, providing a centralized point of contact, and assisting patients in navigating the healthcare system. Champion efforts to create a seamless, patient-centered experience that supports high-quality care and improves patient satisfaction.
_ACO and Medicaid Quality Initiatives:_ Lead and coordinate clinical quality initiatives within the ACO framework to ensure alignment with performance goals. Continuously monitor key quality measures, collaborating closely with care teams to improve outcomes while managing costs. Work closely with care teams to drive improvements in patient outcomes while managing the cost of care, particularly for attributed Medicaid members, by enhancing access to care and addressing quality gaps and SDoH.
_Incident Management, Safety and Infection Control support_ **:** Support clinical safety and infection control programs by collaborating with relevant teams to promote compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and infection prevention protocols. Oversee the reporting, investigation, and resolution of clinical incidents and patient complaints, ensuring prompt and appropriate handling while implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and enhance the overall patient experience. Assist in the implementation of initiatives aimed at reducing risks, enhancing patient safety, and minimizing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) across all specialties. Assist in monitoring of safety and infection control data, supporting improvement activities and helping ensure adherence to standards in coordination with the MAC Employee Health Nurse.
_Cross-functional Collaboration:_ Work closely with the MAHP QI Manager, clinical teams, data analytics, compliance, Information Technology and operations to identify opportunities for quality improvements, implement interventions, and track results.
_Staff Management & Development:_ Oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of direct reports, ensuring appropriate staffing levels to maintain high-quality provider/member/patient services. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing changes that enhance service delivery while meeting organizational standards. Ensure MAC QI staff compliance with competencies, licensure, certifications, and annual training requirements. Provide direct guidance on MAC QI departmental policies and procedures, ensuring they are interpreted and followed consistently to maintain operational excellence.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education Equivalent to a two‑year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study or certification at a business or trade school. Valid RN licensure. BSN preferred.
Interpersonal Skills A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
Other Skills Ability to multi‑task, working on multiple priorities at one given time. Good computer and telephone communications skills.
Physical Aspects:
Stooping - Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
Reaching - Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Standing - Particularly for sustained periods of time.
Walking - Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances.
Lifting - Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.
Fingering - Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling.
Grasping - Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sound with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on machined parts.
Vision - 20 / 40 or better in the best eye with or without correction.
Repetitive Motions - Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Environmental Conditions:
None - The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
