Position Summary...
We seek an experienced Staff Product Manager to own the strategy, development, and success of key initiatives focused on building and scaling our Real-Time Event Platform — a foundational capability for enabling real-time customer experiences, insights, and decisioning across Walmart.

What You’ll Do
+ Drive the development and scaling of a Real-Time Event Platform that powers customer experiences, insights, and decision-making across Walmart.
+ Translate complex business needs into scalable, event-driven platform requirements by serving as the key interface between engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, and Compliance teams to deliver real-time data products that generate measurable business value.
+ Partner with internal teams such as Marketing, Connect, Personalization, Walmart Plus, and Identity to prioritize and accelerate adoption of real-time event capabilities for high-impact use cases.
+ Lead initiatives to establish a robust infrastructure for ingesting, enriching, processing, and serving real-time event streams.
+ Deliver APIs and services that provide millisecond access to actionable customer insights.
+ Onboard high-value events from key source systems while ensuring data quality and governance.
+ Build capabilities to unify events across online and in-store channels for a comprehensive view of customer behavior.
+ Develop self-service tools that enable teams to discover and consume real-time events with minimal engineering support.
+ Implement monitoring and observability systems to ensure platform reliability, low latency, and rapid issue resolution.
+ Ensure compliance with privacy and security standards by working closely with Governance, Privacy, and Security teams.
What You’ll Bring
+ A strategic mindset with a proven ability to define and execute long-term product visions aligned with enterprise goals.
+ Deep experience in product management, particularly in data platforms, real-time systems, or event-driven architectures.
+ Strong technical fluency and the ability to bridge the gap between engineering and business teams.
+ A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment across diverse teams.
+ A passion for enabling real-time personalization, analytics, and decisioning at scale.
+ A track record of delivering high-impact products that drive measurable business outcomes.
+ Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and compliance in large-scale data environments.
+ A proactive attitude toward problem-solving, continuous improvement, and innovation.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-08479:The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09418:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in product management. Option 2: 9 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
