    **Advanced Houston Specialty Hospital** is looking for **Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)** for both day and night shifts to join our team of health care professionals in a newly renovated facility at **205 Hollow Tree Lane, Spring, TX** .

    Compensation includes:

    • **Starting rate $20.00+**

    • Shift Premiums

    • Weekend Premiums

    • Holiday Premiums

     

    As a CNA, you would be responsible to provide essential patient care in the facility including assisting licensed nursing staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services while ensuring compliance with medical and security protocols. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a secure and structured environment.

    Essential Functions:

    + Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility.

    + Provide support to nursing staff by preparing patients for medical examinations and procedures.

    + Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.

    + Monitor patients for signs of distress or changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff.

    + Perform assignments necessary for the operation of the department as delegated by the licensed nurse.

    + Assist with basic wound care, infection control, and specimen collection under the direction of a licensed nurse.

    + Collaborate with security and medical staff to ensure the safety and security of patients and personnel.

    + Regular and predictable attendance required.

     

    It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas. Minimum of one year of experience working as a CNA in a healthcare setting. CPR/BLS certification required. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.

    Post Hire Requirements:

    Must successfully complete annual requirements to include maintaining licenses, certifications, and passing an annual background check.
