    **The Cigna Group’s Actuarial Executive Development Program (AEDP)** **offers** **a premier p** **athway** **that prepares** **actuaries to become** **business** **leaders.**  Through 18–24 month rotations, you’ll gain meaningful experience across core actuarial functions and business areas, while developing a broad understanding of the healthcare industry.

    Where** **You’ll** **Work:

    Rotational opportunities span key functions—including pricing, reserving, analytics, forecasting, and risk management—across diverse business areas such as employer healthcare, individual and family plans (IFP), pharmacy, stop loss, and dental.

    Qualifications:

    + At least 2 years professional work experience in an actuarial or related field

    + Completed and passed at least 4actuarial exams, preferably SOA

    + A bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance economics, data analyticsor related major

    + Outstanding technical skills: Excel proficiency preferred, coding experience in Python, R, SQL, a plus

    + Analytical skills: Ability to think critically, problem solve and drive business impact

    + Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

    + Strong demonstrated ability to lead paired with initiative and curiosity

    + Commitment to professional development and learning the business of healthcare

     

    Hybrid workplace: A collaborative on-site work environment with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. All associates are encouraged to come into the office regularly for collaboration, connection and networking opportunities.

     

    Work Authorization: This position is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa support including H-1B or CPT/OPT/STEM, etc., now or in the future.

     

    If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

     

    For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 89,000 - 148,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

     

    This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
