    Required Skills:

    Product Validation Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. The Product Validation Engineer focuses on end-to-end systems validation from new product introduction, new technology introduction, factory readiness, product launch and post-launch testing.

    2. As such this role will require working closely with a wide range of cross functional partners.

    3. Some of those partners include the mechanical engineering design teams, the electrical hardware design team, the broader core technology teams covering sensors , camera, audio, RF, reliability, as well as embedded firmware and device side app based software.

    4. This role will require driving unification of key validation metrics across those teams as well as developing testing and validation plans to quantify those metrics.

    5. Responsible for managing and driving execution of EE and system level validation of products under development.

    6. Develop a framework and tools to test the performance of IP blocks on the SoC, MCU, and memory in a wearable product environment.

    7. Test the overall product system and coexistence performance of subsystems.

    8. Working with cross-functional teams to drive validation efforts efficiently and report status to the teams.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    9. Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and three years of work experience in job offered or computer-related occupation.

    10. Requires three years of experience in the following:

    11. 1. Lead system validation by developing and executing comprehensive test plans for each program at every phase

    12. 2. Define and provide validation infrastructures

    13. 3. Plan and execute validation tests

    14. 4. Understand product and Hardware development process, Familiarity with HW development tools

    15. 5. Develop the Firmware (C/C++), Automation Scripts(Python) and tools to enable IP block tests on the SoC, MCU, memory in a wearable product environment

    16. 6. Enable coexistence tests, stress tests, and as well other product system tests

    17. 7. Characterize performance and stability of the system across Silicon, Voltage and Temperature corners

    18. 8. Review, analyze and report test results to provide expert root cause and corrective action to resolve all issues found

    19. 9. Drive design improvements with test data

    20. 10. Track validation progress, present data, draft whitepapers, and represent status at design reviews

    21. 11. Plan and budget lab equipment needs to enable and scale the test framework to multiple products, AND

    22. 12. Manage interaction with local and offshore party test labs and contract manufacturing partners.

    Public Compensation:

    $176,416/year to $189,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits
