    Job Description

    THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE OFFERED A SALARY BETWEEN $44,545.00 - $51,227.00.

     

    The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) protects and promotes the safety and well-being of children and families through child welfare and juvenile justice services and community supports. ACS manages community-based supports and foster care services and provides subsidized childcare vouchers. ACS child protection staff respond to allegations of child maltreatment. In juvenile justice, ACS oversees detention, placement, and programs for youth in the community.

    In addition to providing employment protections Office of EEO also performs detailed administrative and analytical functions. This is accomplished by utilizing various statistical tools and software to identify trends, create clear and concise dashboards and visualizations, analyze multiple data points, log EEO case data, maintain database integrity, research and retrieve legacy data upon stakeholders' request, gather relevant EEO data from various sources for reporting matters and serve as EEO subject matter liaisons while responding to general information request to the office.

     

    Reporting to the EEO Office Manager, the EEO Research Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to aide in providing actionable insights.

    EEO Research Analyst tasks will include but are not limited to:

    - Gather and compiles EEO data from various sources for internal reporting purposes

     

    - Handle external request to EEO for investigative records by researching, interpreting, organizing, summarizing, and reporting critical information relating to EEO matters past and present

     

    - Serve as the primary coordinator for WITS offsite file storage system, entering file data for move out and subsequently filing retrieval request for move in of EEO files

     

    - Monitor, triages, and responds to Ask EEO email inbox submissions

     

    - Monitor, triages, and reports on EEO portal submissions

     

    - Create entries in the DCAS CAD system and maintains the data integrity of subsequent EEO staff’s entry updates

     

    - Assist EEO Office Manager in the creation of visualizations, to illustrate data findings in the preparation of reports and presentations

     

    - Engage in trainings to continue developing analytical skills

     

    - Assist with other EEO related projects as needed

    Qualification Requirements

    1. High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or

    2. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
