Lockheed Martin \(LM\) Rotary and Mission
Systems \(RMS\) is looking for software
engineering professionals to work on the Trusted
Security Solutions \(TSS\) program to engineer
Cross\-Domain Solution \(CDS\) products\. This
position is for a Software Engineer \(SW\) Lead
and Manager on the Trusted Manager \(TMAN\)
product and/or Radiant Mercury product within
the program\. TMAN is the Air Force premier CDS
product and Radiant Mercury is the US Navy's
premier CDS product\. LM has been the prime
contractor for both products for over 20 years\.

At LM we engineer innovative solutions to deliver
resilient systems, products, and services across
evolving cyber threats\. As risks to our hardware,
software, and supply chains continue to rise, our
customers require advanced solutions to mitigate
growing vulnerabilities and ensure our systems
can operate in cyber contested environments\.
Our CDS products protect and defend the
information flow of critical and time sensitive
data on many military applications and networks\.
Who You Are:
The TSS program is looking for an innovative
and creative technical lead to SW leadership
across the TSS products\. The ideal candidate
will have a strong background in Software
Engineering development and be able to support
the TSS program in all phases of the CDS
development, configuration, and deployment
process\. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in software development and
scripting as well as a willingness to learn new
technologies\.
The Work:
The primary work location is at the Deer Creek
Facility \(DCF\) in Littleton Colorado with limited
ability to work remotely\. The candidate will be
required to come into the site to conduct their
work\. Responsibilities for the role include:
\* Ensuring the organization's staff is meeting all
program and business commitments and to work
with the Program Leadership team to drive
Program Execution\.
\* Managing the staffing and resource allocation
within the software domain\. This includes
recruiting and hiring candidates\.
\* Conducting performance evaluations,
promotions, and career planning activities\.
\* Maintaining/updating Software Development
Plans and Software SOPs\. Ensuring that the
Software team understands and follows plans
and procedures\.
\* Guiding/mentoring the team on how to do
conduct business with our customers, defining
processes, and improving when needed with a
continuous process improvement mindset\.
\* Gathering, analyzing, and using software and
EVM metrics in waterfall, agile, and hybrid
•wagile” program executions\.
\* Creating SW development schedules in
coordination with project engineers and ensure
the team executes to the schedule\.
\* Cultivating and growing the software
engineering organization\.
\* Interfacing w/ Program Management, CAMs,
Project Engineers, other discipline leaders, and
customers over priorities, milestones and
deliveries\.
\* Supporting proposals and ROMs by
authoring/reviewing detailed Basis of Estimates
and supporting compliance reviews\.
\* Inserting digital transformation initiatives into
software development execution \(DevSecOps,
Model Based Engineering \(MBE\)\. Software
Factory, Agile, and Automated Test\)\.
Basic Qualifications:
\- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance; ability to obtain a final TS/SCI Clearance
\- Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives\.
\- Experience with planning and coordinating software development in a team\-oriented environment\.
\- Knowledgeable in Software Engineering processes and tools, including experience in executing in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies\.
\- Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle including a minimum of 10 years of direct software development experience, preferably in C\+\+, Java, and Python\.
\- Experience with software estimating tools, metrics identification and collection; familiarity with common software metrics capturing SLOC, defects, and productivity
\- Expected to obtain Security\+ certification within 6 months of starting
\- Ability to embrace complex technical challenges and apply systems level thinking for resolution
\- Possess excellent customer relationship management skills to include outreach and communications experience\.
Desired Skills:
\- Secret level clearance; Top Secret preferred
\- Experience with Cross\-Domain Solution \(CDS\)
\- Familiarity with NCDSMO & RTB Requirements
\- Previous Functional Manager responsibilities\.
\- Direct experience performing L\-Coded responsibilities over a team of at least 10 people\.
\- Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Eyesight, Jenkins, Git/GitLab/BitBucket, JIRA, and Confluence
\- Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, and microservice architectures/technologies\.
\- Experience with Software Development Lifecycles in a DOD environment
\- Experience in staff planning and maintaining Software Development Plan \(SDP\)
\- Experience with project planning and Microsoft Project
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 \- $192,510\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\. **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\. \(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\. This position is incentive plan eligible\.
