Summary:

We’re looking for a highly-skilled, deeply collaborative tenured Game Producer who can play a critical role in building the future of experiences for Horizon. You'll engage, support, and serve as a game producer, collaborating across all disciplines (art, design, eng, production, QA, Marketing). This person will work directly with the Studio Head and Game Director on prioritization, and unblocking the team while ensuring the team hits timely milestones. The ideal candidate has extensive game development experience and experience managing small to mid-sized full-stack development teams.

Required Skills:

Senior Game Producer - OURO Responsibilities:

1. Support the studio leads by helping with milestone definition, project tasking, and studio execution of deliverables.

2. Own production and quality oversight of complex gameplay features, driving the team to produce the highest quality content regardless of production constraints.

3. Coordinate and align priorities of project director, art director, and studio head with developers.

4. Work with interdisciplinary developers to create roadmaps for game features, defining key milestones and scheduling.

5. Sprint plan and load balance with development teams - creating clear and actionable plans in Jira and other project management tools.

6. Communicate clearly to the team primary initiatives and act as evangelist of the core game concepts to the team at large.

7. Proactively identify potential blockers and work to minimize impacts to the larger schedule with contingency planning.

8. Hands on problem solving to unblock the team and help every developer maximize impact.

9. Work with feature teams to forecast and acquire necessary resources, including software, hardware, and outsourcing support.

10. Significant cross functional collaboration between OURO team and partners across Meta.

Minimum Qualifications:

11. 6+ years of experience in the games industry as a Producer or Project Manager, and/or shipped at least two successful titles as a Producer or Project Manager

12. Experience leading production of significant game play features

13. Thorough knowledge of full game development cycles and how to adapt best practices for each phase

14. Proven experience with production software such as Jira, Figma, Confluence, Google Suite, etc

15. Experience directly scheduling and project managing a multi-disciplinary team of 15+ developers

16. Proven communication skills when interfacing with both internal developers and external leadership

17. Proven experience working with Games QA and best practices utilizing internal QA to maximize team efficiency and minimize downtime

Preferred Qualifications:

18. 10+ years of game development experience, or a minimum of 2 shipped highly regarded or award winning games

19. Experience producing or developing User-Generated Content (e.g., Roblox, Meta Horizon Worlds, etc.)

20. Experience producing VR, Mixed Reality, and/or Augmented Reality games

21. Multi-platform experience across Mobile, Console, and/or PC

22. Proven skills at another aspect of development such as Design, Art, Marketing, Community Management, etc

23. Experience in game development with both internal and external development teams

24. Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment, juggling projects and developers

25. Outsourcing management experience

26. Experience managing operating expenses and tracking budgets

Public Compensation:

$154,000/year to $217,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
