    This position exists to perform typical OAS activities in the Document Services Unit. Primary responsibility is printing and folding of motor vehicle titles, prepping, scanning, indexing, and verifying Drivers License and Motor Vehicle documents and images. To open, sort, and weigh Federal/Private Carrier mail; deliver specified CPG/Intertech parcels and to mail out special license plates for the Driver and Vehicle Services Division and the Department of Public Safety. Additional responsibilities include; fold and deliver time sensitive forms and letters by operating the Bell & Howell PF1722 folder; audit the title stock continuity for security purposes; operating the division’s laminator; operate Canon IR7095 Image Path copier in the Copy center; sort and distribute reports and letters.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information and assistance to internal and external customers.

    + Ability to communicate with others and understand information sufficient to communicate via email and phone interactions to internal and external customers.

    + Ability to input, verify, and edit electronic data.

    + Ability to read source documents and enter data in specific databases or tracking systems.

    + Ability to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

    + Ability to meet physical requirements noted below.

    + The ability to work cooperatively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities.

    + Ability to be flexible as assignments may change throughout the day.

    + Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced work environment.

    + Knowledge of a written and spoken second language (e.g., Spanish, Hmong or Somali) and English sufficient to translate messages from one language to the other, while maintaining message content, context, and style **_._**

    + Graduate of one of the following public sector training programs: Project for Pride in Living, HIRED, Goodwill Easter Seals, Twin Cities Rise, Takoda, Hmong American Partnership, CLUES or similar Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) sponsored workforce development programs.

    Physical Requirements

    Requires occasionally moving and transporting 50 pound items and frequently moving and transporting objects such as heavy tools and heavy file boxes. This job may require positioning self to move to a significant degree or may involve maintaining a stationary position for extended periods.
