    The Global S2P Supplier Relations Coordinator is responsible for the execution of functions and processes associated to Vendor Cycle Management and Supplier Inquiries, providing general support to Supply Chain operations with focus on the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting the overall organization goals in terms of efficiencies and savings. This role is directly responsible for the monitoring of the day-to-day business interactions with suppliers addressing their inquiries, the validation of completeness of requirements for vendor cycle management, the identification of financial exposure from vendor statements and/or payments in error processed to Weatherford suppliers, working actively to recover funds owed to Weatherford (supplier port-audit).

    OPERATIONS

    1. Vendor Cycle Management:

    2. Validate the completeness of the requirements associated to the vendor onboarding, vendor record maintenance and termination/deactivation; ensure execution of approval workflows and validates accuracy of the integration between supplier self-registration portal and ERP systems; escalate errors to the appropriate level on a timely manner.

    3. Monitor approval workflow status and initiate actions to prevent or mitigate delays in the process

    4. Initiate onboarding and maintenance of internally managed supplier records; monitor the implementation and releasing of blocks and or restrictions to suppliers with requestors.

    5. Process internal and external requirements associated to the use of the tool; facilitates the delivery of user guides or training material as requested; communicate and escalate technical issues to the appropriate level

    6. Support questionnaires owners in the planning and execution of initiatives (recurring questionnaires for risk assessment), ensuring compliance with Supplier Communications branding and corporate guidelines.

    1. Centralize and monitor supplier inquiries and case resolution.

    1. Monitor the resolution process of supplier inquiries globally in terms of adequacy, time and completeness working closely with third party offshore team globally; act as primary point of escalation to contribute to the maintenance of positive relations with suppliers mitigating risk to operations; communicate and seek guidance from the Global S2P Supplier Relations Manager to address complex situations.

    2. Consider Weatherford supplier tiering when addressing inquiries

    3. Monitor the vendor statement reconciliation process to identify and communicate financial or operational exposure; complete analysis of statements reconciled from assigned Tier 1 and global suppliers; work with Global S2P Payable Specialist to address issues with the exception management queue affecting timely payment of invoices.

    4. Produce monthly reporting from email manager tool to identify and propose opportunities for the implementation of efficiencies, including monitoring of feedback form vendors, volume of inquiries per region and vendor, including tiering elements

    COMMUNICATION

    + Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and external

    + Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports

    FINANCIAL

    + All employees have an accountability to the organization to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses

    + Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure

    + Support initiatives to record tangible savings for the organization

    Experience & Education

    REQUIRED

    + Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain or a related field

    + Experience in the industry or related field

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

    PREFERRED

    + Able to communicate in other languages is a plus (Spanish preferred).

    + Finance background.

     

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    REQUIRED

    + Strong research, analytical and practical problem-solving skills.

    + Strong written communication, interpersonal skills, and time-management abilities.

    + Well organized; able to manage multiple priorities and concurrent tasks.

    + Process and systems technically oriented.

    + Exposure to different ERP systems (JDE preferred)

    + Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills

    + Proven experience working with offshore 3rd parties’ support.

    + Able to communicate in other languages is a plus (Spanish preferred).

    + Advanced analytical and operational execution management skills

    + Prior working experience of Finance

    + Prior working experience of Financial Procedures

    + The ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership
