**Job Summary:** The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the organization’s inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all inventories.
Essential Job Duties:
+ Maintain consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.
+ Must have the ability to learn and effectively use the AMOS MRO system at GES DFW
+ Identify frequently used inventory and sets up min/max reorder levels manually or through the Swiss AS AMOS MRO system
+ Provide inventory reports internally and externally
+ Manage and maintain inventory system, part mastery accuracy, asset inventory in the AMOS system and physically
+ Conduct frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory
+ Perform periodic and annual physical inventory audits
+ Record inventory audits for GIAD audit readiness
+ Operate a forklift truck when necessary
+ Perform other related duties as requested
+ Audit parts paperwork to determine expiration dates, airworthiness, and accuracy in the AMOS system
+ Monitor parts created in AMOS that are compliant with inventory basics and accounting requirements
+ Track all assets using the AMOS MRO system and this includes engines, engine stands, parts, and company owned assets
+ Identify opportunities for operational excellence and cost saving
+ Ensure compliance with procurement processes and company policies and practices
+ Fulfill program procurement responsibilities in accordance with GES DFW Supply Chain policies
+ Track engine, engine stand, split components, and fan case storage movements
+ Ability to work with the Finance Team
+ Track company assets that include, tooling, computers, and more using asset tags and the AMOS MRO system
+ Work well with others and can roll up your sleeves and get the job done
+ Ability to backfill as a buyer or shipper when needed
Secondary Duties:
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, or industry-related field required
2. 4+ years of experience required
3. 4+ years of ERP experience (Quantum, AMOS, SAP, etc.) with the capability to learn a new system rapidly.
4. Must have advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access
5. Must be able to deal with confidential information appropriately
6. Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
7. Occasional outside local and out of town travel is required, involving driving, and/or flying (10%)
**Preferred** :
1. Master’s degree in business or related field preferred.
2. Strong work experience with AMOS
3. Familiar with the 5S methodology
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to lift 40 pounds, climb stairs, bend, and stoop, as necessary.
2. Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
3. Normal office environment where approximately 20% of work is performed in a sitting position.
4. Frequent exposure to the outside warehouse areas for varying lengths of time.
