    We're hiring in Tempe, AZ and Cincinnati, OH locations only. If you're outside of these two cities, please join our career site community to search in your area.

     

    Responsible for new account onboarding of Wealth Management accounts in Personal Trust. Accountable for coordinating with key stakeholders across a spectrum of departments and business lines in Personal Trust to ensure that the appropriate account documentation and client information is obtained, in accordance with regulations (AML, CIP, KYC, DOL, Fiduciary Rules), bank policies and procedures while providing best in class service. This includes product specialty knowledge and expertise (such as Account Fees, IRAs, Custody, Agency, Entity, Charitable, Estates, etc.). Other responsibilities may include reporting, projects, quality review and miscellaneous tasks associated with the role.

    Responsibilities:

    + Oversight of Wealth Management & Investment Services (WMIS) client accounts and products of various types and sizes established by clients for various purposes.

    + Technical, industry, process, and trouble-shooting support for products or accounts to a team of operation Specialists within their own unit/discipline.

    + Primary focus is on day-to-day deliverables, developing solutions based upon subject expertise, occasionally representing the department at a broader level; may also contribute to strategic planning within area of expertise.

    + Accountable for the completion of daily processing activities.

    + Delivers a high level of customer service and is responsible for the identification of and minimization of risk in the control environment, process efficiency and effective customer issue resolution.

    + Responsibilities have various levels of risk correlating to the type and size of account or product.

    + May be required to provide supervisory responsibilities and apply independent judgement and decision making based on area of expertise.

    What you'll bring:

    - Working knowledge of fiduciary law, tax implications and practices in multiple jurisdictions, trust accounting/reporting, and other regulatory compliance requirements.

     

    - Working towards a Professional Designation such as a CTFA or a CFP

     

    - Expert knowledge of departmental operations/policies and Personal Trust products.

     

    - Ability to identify and resolve complex problems with minimal guidance

     

    - Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

     

    - Effective interpersonal, verbal and communication skills

     

    - Well-developed customer service/relations skills

     

    _The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week in Cincinnati, OH or Tempe, AZ offices only._

    Basic Qualifications

    - Three years or more of related experience

    Preferred Skills/Experience

    - Bachelor's degree

     

    - Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn custody operational functions, systems, procedures, various products and/or services, for assigned area(s)

     

    - Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment

     

    - Exhibits analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills

     

    - Exhibits customer relation skills, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills

     

    - Understanding of regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth Management & Investment Services business lines and clients

     

    - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, preferably Excel

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $75,820.00 - $89,200.00 - $98,120.00
