Regional HRIS Analyst (Americas)
What will you do?
A day in the life of a Regional HRIS Analyst (Americas) at VF looks a little like this.
This position plays an important role in supporting our Workday HCM application, including HR data analysis and compliance in the Americas Region. As a key member of the People Services team, you will be accountable for the integrity, accuracy and proper use of HR information entered and retrieved from Workday. The goal for the incumbent of this position is to become a subject matter expert in HCM transactions with an understanding of all impacts associated with these transactions. This position is also responsible for HR projects and data support including HR compliance and reporting.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
+ Serve as expert in Workday business processes, including impact analysis of HCM with other functional areas including Payroll, Benefits, Absence, etc.
+ Manage a HR case load for Workday data and transaction assistance; as well as setup of foundational data such as supervisory organizations, locations, cost centers based on business requests.
+ Primary responsibilities include supporting the HR Data team with completion of workforce transactions (hire, termination, job change, personal data change, and others) within Workday for the America's region. Serve as an escalation point for HR Data team questions or concerns on data or transactions. Regularly auditing Workday data for data integrity; managing fall out and recommending process changes to mitigate errors.
+ Provide end-user support; troubleshoot bugs and issues via research, testing, scenario re-creation and document findings; and educate end user on Workday functionality.
+ Serve as the Workday EIB expert by regularly creating and working with the Global Admin team to successfully load and validate EIB loads.
+ Own Workday business process testing for business processes, upgrades, acquisitions/divestitures and new configuration in partnership with the Global Admin Team. Includes maintaining a master list of test scripts. Coordinate testing between all functional areas (workforce administration/lifecycle, benefits, compensation, etc.) and regions. Report back to global admin team the test results. Communicate to all regions and HR on new Workday functionality.
+ Own the analysis of impacts to VF of HCM Workday weekly updates and biannual releases.
+ Act as HCM liaison between end user, HR Data and PSC teams with Workday Global Configuration team.
+ Act as a HCM liaison for the HR tier 1 People Service center including partnering on call center training, helping develop documentation for the knowledge base, and accepting escalations.
+ Escalate complex systems administration and end-user issues to the Global Administration team and/ or the appropriate functional team with follow through until the issues are resolved.
+ Identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of processes by leveraging Workday Community, the Global Admin team, and other internal partners.
+ Assist in the development of change management, communication and training plans.
+ Responsible for monitoring and managing various HR and finance partner security roles within Workday – Including making recommendations for security improvements and proactive changes based on org changes.
+ Project management and change management related to Workday projects such as upgrades, new configuration, data cleanup, acquisitions/divestitures/spinoffs etc.
+ Develop process for monthly supervisor organization audits of the top 5 levels within Workday to ensure accurate org structure.
Other HR Data Project Support
+ Regular reporting including but not limited to monthly New Hire reports and annual compliance data to vendors for government reporting.
+ Maintain and audit AAP data including location establishments
+ Work closely with HR Data team on knowledge transfer and process improvement opportunities within Workday and general HR data
+ Owner of team process documentation and end user guides
+ Serve as key contact and project manager for large volume org structures to plan and implement moving workers and larger volume transaction support.
What do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 3+ years of experience with Workday HCM and data analysis as well as your other professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
+ 3-5 years in depth Workday business process and foundational experience required
+ Experience supporting Workday HCM applications
+ Strong MS Excel abilities for large data analysis projects
+ Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
+ Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints
+ Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical
+ Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Prior experience with case management system
+ Natural curiosity to question data and research answers
+ Travel by air and overnight, as required 20% of the time.
+ Lifting and/or bending, lifting 10 lbs. of weight.
+ **Hybrid Position, minimum of three days in the Greensboro Office Required**
There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related area preferred or equivalent work experience
+ Workday reporting experience is a big plus

Hiring Range** **:
$64,000.00 USD - $80,000.00 USD annually
**Incentive Potential** : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
