Position Purpose:

Develops and operationalizes the Medicare portfolio including Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan (PDP), Employer Group and Medicare Supplemental plans. Works closely with actuary, finance national network, markets and PDP leaders to develop competitive product portfolios and ensures product bids are accurately filed with CMS, other regulatory entities, and operationalized across the enterprise. Assists sales and marketing leadership build marketing and sales plans based on product portfolios developed each year. In addition, oversees new product implementations, change management implementations, integration program, capital plan for Medicare, and initiatives for assigned business unit or product line to meet strategic operational objectives.

+ Oversees and directs the Medicare and PDP, Employer Group and Medicare Supplemental product development and execution team and serves as the single point of contact for market leadership in Medicare and PDP product management functions.

+ Leads the member communications team and ensures accuracy and timeliness of material development.

+ Primary coordinator of the Medicare capital program requests and ensures bids are accurately filed, data and source files for the organization are clean and consistent.

+ Plans and coordinates with national contracting to develop new supplemental product features and ensures competitive pricing.

+ Develops and operationalizes product innovations; works with Strategy team to support expansion and programs.

+ Leads the program management of new product implementations and integration work for the Medicare area.

+ Interacts with sales and marketing leadership to help implement sales and marketing strategies based on current year.

+ Collaborates with shared service leadership and market leadership to establish the operational strategic plans, annual operational objectives and is the senior liaison between product line, other business units, corporate, and external stakeholders related to operational areas.

+ Maintains up to date market intelligence to understand customer needs, competitive activity and emerging product opportunities.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ This role location is remote with 25% travel.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required. A Master’s degree in a related field preferred. 12+ years of experience in managed care along with 5+ years of management experience. Solid experience and exposure leading projects and people in two of the following areas: Product Development, Product Operations, Marketing & Sales, Strategic Planning, and/or Network Management.

Pay range: $250,000 - $625,000 per year.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
