The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level Python developer responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Market Risk Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Qualifications:

+ 5-10 years of relevant experience in Python development role

+ Highly experienced and skilled senior core python developer with 5+ years of experience with software building and platform engineering.

+ Extensive development expertise in building the high scaled and performant software platforms for data computation and processing.

+ Proven experience designing and implementing Python-based data pipelines and complex applications.

+ Expert level knowledge of core python concepts and libraries such as pandas, numpy and scipy and well versed with OOPs concepts and design patterns.

+ Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, databases and operating systems.

+ Highly experienced with Unix based operating systems

+ Strong analytical and logical skills.

+ Hands-on experience in writing SQL queries.

+ Experience with source code management tools such as Bitbucket, Git etc; Champion high development standards, emphasizing code quality, reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD.

+ Experience working with banking domain like pricing, risk etc is plus

+ CFA/FRM certification is plus.

+ Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications

+ Experience in managing and implementing successful projects

+ Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development

+ Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

+ Demonstrated leadership and project management skills; Mentor junior team members, fostering their technical growth.

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

+ Expertise with Big Data technologies (Dask, Spark) is preferable

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

+ Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$142,320.00 - $213,480.00
