    Responsibilities

    Manage the daily operations of rehabilitative services.

     

    + Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.

    + Assess quality of patient care and coordinate services with patients and healthcare providers.

    + Manage staff relations and oversee scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.

    + Oversee departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.

    Requirements

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.

    + One or more of the following required:

    + Audiologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    + Audiologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    + Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    + Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    + Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    Education:

    + HHigh School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

    + 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
