    **Title** : R&D Software Engineer III

    **Location** : San Diego, CA

    **Duration** : 12 months

    **Pay Range:** $55/hr to $60/hr (On W2)

     

    We are looking for an “R&D Software Engineer III “ to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide technical leadership to a global team of software developers to create a high-quality cloud solution.

    + Collaborate with other teams in the organization (local and remote) to coordinate on delivery timelines.

    + Facilitate decisions on the scope of work, duration of tasks, and product requirements.

    + Evaluate current development processes and provide recommendations for improvements.

    + Understands and is aware of the quality consequences that may occur from the improper performance of the products.

    + Identify key barriers/core problems and apply problem-solving skills to deal creatively with complex situations.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems, and make decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective results.

    + Collaborate on establishing best practices in software and systems that lead to efficient development, support high-quality software, and are compliant with our Quality Management System

    + Use strong technical abilities and can suggest multiple solutions to problems.

    + Responsible for the development of complex technical project plans and schedules covering all engineering activities.

    + Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationships

    + Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies.

    + Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business

    Minimum Qualifications | Education/Experience:

    + Hands-on experience developing Cloud solutions. Experience in using Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban, TDD, etc.)

    + 10+ years of experience in systems and/or software development involving interoperability of connected devices.

    + Bachelor of Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (MS preferred).

    Qualifications:

    + Hands-on experience with Azure ADEntra ID or similar identity platforms such as OktaIdentity Serve, etc.

    + Good understanding of AuthenticationAuthorization and OAuth 2.0Open ID Connect standards.

    + Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services such as Kubernetes service, App Service, Azure Function, App Gateway, Azure Blob Storage, Log Analytics, Azure Key Vault, Azure Data Factory, API Gateway, Event Hub.

    + Experience with Infrastructure as a Code technologies such as Terraform.

    + Experience with CICD technologies such as Azure DevOpsJenkins.

    + Experience with Static Code Analysis, such as Veracode or Fortify on Demand.

    + Good understanding front front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.

    + Proficiency with at least one of the modern application development languages, such as Python or C#.

    + Experience with REST API technologies such as FastAPI and ASP.NET Core Web API.

    + Experience with network protocols, integration, and integration testing, and cybersecurity

    + Proficient with Medical Device regulations (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, 21 CFR part 820.30-Design Controls, FDA SW Guidelines…).

    + Experience in delivering products for the Medical Device IVD industry.

    + Experience with testing techniques for cloud solutions.

    + Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

    + Good understanding of the TLSHTTPS RESTSOAP protocols.

    + Creates a workplace environment of mutual respect. Takes time to explain decisions.

    + Reaches across departments, organizations, or geographies to best serve the customer.

    + Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams across time zones.
