    Job Descriptions:

    Sigmatech is seeking a highly motivated space expert to provide technical analysis and training for the Third Space Operations Squadron (3 SOPS) at Schriever SFB, Colorado. In this position, contractor will provide tactical-to-operational level support for space-based mission systems. Specific position tasks include:

     

    + Developing and maintaining mission planning/orbital analysis curriculum, lesson plans, and training products

    + Developing and maintaining tactical mission decision briefs in support of key leader "Go/No-go" operational assessments

    + Supporting the customer during critical planning and operational working groups. Working groups include (but are not limited to) Mission Analysis, Game-plan Development Review, Game Plan Analysis and Wargaming, SpaceBoss, etc

    + Supporting testing events and documenting critical information such as system limitations, system performance, and maintenance recommendations

    + Conducting technical anomaly resolution analysis

    + Providing independent state quality verification, orbital conjunction message probability of collision assessments, Point of Closest Approach Assessments, and other related orbital dynamic analysis

    + Supporting the mission planning cell in the validation of command plans and other related planning activities

    Required Experience:

    Desired 10+ years working space operations. 3+ years specific to orbital warfare specific missions.

     
     

    Formal Orbital Analyst Training. Satellite Tool Kit, FreeFlyer, Microsoft Suite (to include Excel and Access).

     

    Ability to effectively communicate (speaking/writing) and relay complex information.

     

    Ability to support, brief, and provide recommendations to senior-level DoD leaders

     

    In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
