    Job Descriptions:

    As Chapa-De Indian Health continues to grow, we're introducing a new and vital leadership role: Director of Risk Management. This role will lead a comprehensive risk and compliance program that safeguards our patients, staff, and reputation. As well as ensuring regulatory readiness, reduce organizational risk, and promote a culture of safety and accountability across all departments.

     

    Salary: $143,400-180,000, depending on experience!

    Benefit Highlights:

    + Employer-paid Health Insurance (medical, dental and vision): 100% for employee and 80% for dependents.

    + 17 days PTO per year, 11 Paid Holidays, 8+ Sick Days (1 hour for every 30 hours worked)

    Duties:

    + Design and implement a comprehensive risk management and corporate compliance framework in alignment with federal, state, and accreditation standards.

    + Lead regulatory readiness for audits and certifications, including HIPAA, HRSA, FTCA, OSHA, and AAAHC.

    + Oversee investigations into compliance violations, safety incidents, and legal claims in collaboration with HR and legal counsel.

    + Educate leaders and staff on risk-based decision-making, safety protocols, and incident response planning.

    + Prepare and deliver regular reports on risk trends, mitigation activities, and audit findings to senior leadership.

    Required Experience:

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or related field; or combination of equivalent experience and education.

    + 7+ years of management experience with increasing responsibility in healthcare risk management and compliance.

    + Strong understanding of healthcare and safety regulations (ex. FTCA, HIPAA, HITECH, OSHA, CMS, etc.).

    + Previous experience in risk assessment, risk mitigation, incident response, and healthcare compliance with proven ability to develop and maintain a risk management program.

    + Previous experience researching, compiling, analyzing and interpreting complex technical, financial and other relevant healthcare data

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to advocate for risk mitigation strategies, navigate complex discussions, and enforce compliance while fostering collaboration across departments.

    + Current and in good standing: valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and DMV report.
